This precision instrument allows you to align your cartridge in the headshell with extreme accuracy—no more risk of damaging the stylus or cantilever. Alignment is performed outside the tonearm, so after mounting and setting the tracking force, you’re ready to play immediately.

The optical alignment tool requires two AA batteries for operation.

How to set-up your cartridge

Step	Description
1	Insert the headshell with pre-mounted cartridge into the alignment tool.
2	Switch on the tool using the front on/off button.
3	The laser beam will project exactly 52 mm from the tonearm connector, centered in the headshell.
4	Slide the cartridge until the laser beam hits the diamond stylus tip.
5	Secure the cartridge in the headshell.
6	Install the aligned headshell into the tonearm.
7	Set the correct Vertical Tracking Force (VTF).
8	Ready to play.
